Each year Kitsap Bank makes a donation to Poulsbo-based Martha and Mary Lutheran Services for a featured project. On Sept.12, Marlene Mitchell, AVP Regional Operations Manager and Al Saliba, Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer of the Poulsbo branch, presented Martha and Mary with a $2500 donation.
This year, the funds will be used to support the Children’s Services Program. Activities such as tours of Safeco and Qwest fields, trips to the Point Defiance Zoo and Hurricane Ridge, and activities such as bowling and swimming are just a few of the many services provided by the program.
Joanna Carlson, Administrator for Martha and Mary Children’s Services, noted, “These were events that many of these children had never experienced, and would not, without the generosity of our donors.”. |
