SK8TOWN, a brand new skating rink in South Kitsap, opened its doors on Sept. 28, with a ribbon cutting ceremony with city officials and the Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce. The facility has over 23,000 square feet including the roller rink, arcade, pool table and inflatables for tots.
Marisa Barlow, events coordinator, states, We hope to see this community utilize the space for whatever they can imagine. The facility is designed for skating and so much more. The new generation floors are made of a high density, super endurance plastic that will accommodate all kinds of sporting and high impact events, trade shows, dances and concerts.
