Rice Fergus Miller wins new
fire station projects
The Bremerton architectural, planning and interior design firm of Rice Fergus Miller has been selected to design several new fire and emergency services projects. They include:
  • Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One: Improvements to the district’s training center and remodels to two stations.
  • City of Seattle Fire Station 17: Renovations and addition to this historic fire station for the City of Seattle, in collaboration with Bassetti Architects.
  • City of Seattle Fire Department: Authorship of the a station design manual for the remaining 32 projects included in the City’s Fire Facilities Levy Program.
  • Port of Seattle Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting Facility (ARFF): Renovations and addition to SeaTac International Airport’s fire station.

In addition to these new projects, the firm also has three fire service projects going out to bid later this month, including:

  • Poulsbo Fire Department Headquarters Remodel.
  • Central Pierce Station 6-7 Sewer Improvements.
  • Clallam County Fire District 3 Vehicle Maintenance Facility.
