The Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island recently installed its new slate of officers for the 2006-2007 Rotary year. Noted for its annual Auction and Rummage Sale, the club raised over $380,000 at its July event, which is used to fund local scholarships, non-profit organizations, a variety of local projects and several international projects in the Third World.
Incoming President, Roger Merrifield, observed that “our membership is evolving, and we are welcoming more and more new members who, a decade ago, would never have thought to join Rotary.”
