| The July issues of Seattle Business Monthly and Washington CEO Magazine showcased the results of their annual surveys to determine the best places to work in the state of Washington.
American Marine Bank, headquartered on Bainbridge Island, took highest honors in the midsize companies category (100-449 employees) in Seattle Business Monthly’s “44 Best Places to Work,” with KPS Health Plans placing seventh in the same category.
KPS Health Plans was also recognized by Washington CEO Magazine in its list of “Best Companies to Work for in Washington,” ranking third in that magazine’s nonprofit/governmental companies category. This is the second time that KPS has been recognized by each publication, and the second year in a row that American Marine Bank has been on Seattle Business Monthly’s list.
The two were the only Kitsap County-based businesses that were recognized. In Gig Harbor, the Russell Family Foundation, a non-profit philanthropic organization, placed first in the nonprofit/governmental companies category in Washington CEO’s list, and financial services firm Threshold Group ranked 11th in the small companies category. |
