| Heidi and Lowell Yoxsimer recently announced the opening of Hi-Lo’s 15th Street Café, located at 2720 15th Street in Bremerton. The café is open Tues – Sat. from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sun. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed on Monday.
Hi-Lo’s serves Grounds for Change Coffee and features a coffee bar from the back end of a VW bus (which has been mounted on the wall), a disco styled restroom, and an unofficial Thermos museum. Menu highlights are “Moon Biscuits and Gravy,” the “Back to Basic Burger,” the “Grateful Bowl,” and the “Hi-Lo’s special “Carrot Cake.”
The Yoxsimer’s opened the café with the idea of offering “Good cooking, coffee, conversation and real good food.”
