Rand Riedrich joins
Kitsap Business Assistance Center
Rand Riedrich recently joined the Kitsap Business Assistance Center (KBAC) as Business Development Specialist. In this capacity, he will be responsible for providing confidential, one on one counseling for business owners and entrepreneurs at no charge. The KBAC, which is located at the Norm Dicks Government Center in downtown Bremerton, operates as a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) under the guidance of the Washington State lead office for SBDC.

All SBDC counselors are required to complete a training and certification process with an assigned mentor during their first six months to ensure they are well versed to counsel business owners. The KBAC also provides informational resources and conducts workshops designed to help business owners get started and continue successfully in their business.

Riedrich has 5 years experience running a Small Business Development Center in North Carolina, and had recently started a gardening business in New Orleans which was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina. Experienced in business, he has been the owner of Gulf South Forest Managers as well as owner and business broker for the Business and Technology Group. He served as a forester for various groups, including the New Zealand Forest Service.

Riedrich earned his M.B.A. from Centenary College in LA and a B.S. in Forestry from Louisiana Technological University.
