Bremerton Symphony plans
two March concerts
The Bremerton Symphony Association (BSA) will hold separate concerts by its two main performing groups in March. The Symphony will present “Of Wind And Things” with guest soloist, Nancy Ambrose King on oboe, on Sat., March 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bremerton Performing Arts Center, 1500 13th St. Featured works include Prokofiev’s “Suite from Romeo and Juliet”, oboe concertos by Vivaldi and Strauss, and Mozart’s Symphony #36. Elizabeth Stoyanovich, BSA Music Director, conducts.

The Bremerton Symphony Concert Chorale, under the direction of LeeAnne Campos, will present “Music in the Air” on Sat., March 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Bremerton’s Sylvan Way Baptist Church, 900 Sylvan Way. This chorale-only concert features works by Vaughan-Williams, Rossini, Debussy and Copland among others.

Tickets for both performances are $22 for adults and seniors, $10 for youth; group rates are available. Tickets may be purchased by contacting the Symphony office at (360) 373-1722 or via the web site, www.bremertonsymphony.org. Tickets are also available at the box office one hour prior to concerts.
