Bainbridge Home & Garden Show
set for March 25
The third annual Bainbridge Island Home and Garden Show will be held Sat. March 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Woodward Middle School. The trade-show style event includes exhibits, demonstrations, drawings, presentations and workshops by local and regional gardening, home building and improvement experts.

The Home and Garden Show is produced and presented by the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce in partnership with premiere sponsor, Wells Fargo Bank, supporting sponsor, Prudential Northwest Real Estate and associate sponsors, Bainbridge Gardens, Northwest Design Center and Absolute Concrete Works and its new media sponsor, the Bainbridge Review and Kitsap Newspaper Group.

Back this year, is Ciscoe Morris, the host of “Gardening With Ciscoe” on KIRO-AM radio and KING 5 TV. Joining Ciscoe will be Kathleen Victor and Dan Jensen, both certified appraisers, who will analyze household antiques and family heirlooms, as part of their day-long “Antique Evaluations by Professional Appraisers” special feature.

Also is on board is Terry Moyemont and Terri Stanley of Mesogeo Greenhouse will discuss how to grow Mediterranean and tropical plants in the Northwest. Moyemont, an award-winning photographer, will also present a brief slide show on European gardens he visited.  Author and syndicated columnist Marianne Binetti, known for her two-acre garden in Enumclaw and her latest book, “Gardening in Washington and Oregon,” will also present.

The Chamber is planning additional features and presentations. Admission is $3; children under 12 are free.
