Bainbridge ferry project
advisory group selected
Washington State Ferries (WSF) recently announced the selection of the Community Advisory Group (CAG) for the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal Improvement project. After receiving nearly 50 letters of interest, WSF worked with local elected officials to select the final 12 CAG members who represent a broad cross-section of geographic locations, interest groups and community organizations. In addition to the 12 members, the CAG will have a standing position for a representative from the WSF Ferry Advisory Committee.

CAG members include: Ann Bernheisel, (Suquamish-area resident); Carol Cahill, (Jefferson County resident); Phedra Elliot, (Indianola resident); Bob Campbell, Kevin Dwyer, Rik Langendoen, Lisa Macchio, Dolores Palomo, Merrill Robison, Janice Shaw, John Whitlow, and Don Willott (Bainbridge Island residents).

Members will provide input to WSF from the community perspective in determining any necessary updates to the 1998 Terminal Master Plan and will assist in keeping the community informed of the project’s progress. Members will attend quarterly CAG meetings, participate in two public meetings and help review and report on public comments. The CAG meetings are open to the public.
