Bill Nye the Science Guy is coming to Kitsap
Two special performances benefiting Kids Discovery Museum

Most kids affectionately know him as “Bill Nye the Science Guy,” the larger than life TV personality, comedian and author that makes science fun with his weird and wacky demonstrations.

In another life, he was also Speed Walker, a superhero who not only fought crime, but did it while adhering to the rules and regulations of the American Race Walking Association. Both Speed Walker, and Bill Nye the Science Guy were characters originally appearing on KING 5's now-defunct late night comedy show, Almost Live! Nye has since gone on to stardom on PBS in the Science Guy role.

Nye will visit Bainbridge Island with two performances on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Bainbridge High School Gym. The event is sponsored by Harrison Medical Center, CFA Northwest Mortgage, Projector.com, and Kitsap Credit Union.

Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased for the holidays through one of the following outlets: Kids Discovery Museum, 305 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island. Call (206) 855-4650 to reserve over the phone or on-line through TicketWeb at www.ticketweb.com.
