| The American Red Cross is looking for “real heroes” from your community. Do you know someone who performed life-saving CPR, pulled a person from a burning building or raised money to help someone in need?
Help the Red Cross recognize these extraordinary people by nominating your hero. Information about the nomination forms is available on-line at www.seattleredcross.org, by calling (360) 478-7681, or emailing janet.mayberry@seattleredcross.org.
The Red Cross will honor those heroes on March 9, 2006, at the Seventh Annual Heroes Breakfast. Each year the Red Cross presents its Real Heroes awards in categories such as fire, police, military, workplace safety, adult and youth Good Samaritan, and medical rescue.
The candidate must live or work in Kitsap or North Mason County and/or the event could have occurred in Kitsap County. The heroic act must be ongoing or have occurred between December 31, 2004 and December 31, 2005. Nominations will be accepted until January 15, 2006. |
