| Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) averaged 4.30 on a 5-point scale in the Ancillary Provider Survey conducted annually by the Peninsula Regional Support Network. This is the third consecutive year that KMHS has averaged 4.25 or higher and its scores were again the highest among mental health agencies in the region.
The ratings were given by human service organizations, school districts, nursing homes and juvenile justice representatives - termed ancillary providers because they regularly collaborate with KMHS to provide services to individuals with a mental illness in Kitsap County. KMHS management uses the ratings and comments from the survey as part of its Coordinated Quality Improvement Plan filed with the State Department of Health since May 1998.
