The premier issue of WestSound Home & Garden, a new, upscale magazine for the Kitsap Peninsula, hit the newsstands late last month. The full-color, high gloss magazine is chock full of information on gardening, redecorating, home décor tips, dining out, and much more.
The debut issue contains feature stories on area farmer's markets from Gig Harbor to Bainbridge Island, profiles of local interior designers, stories about organic nurseries, and features about new products for the home.
From cover to cover, WestSound Home & Garden features all we love about life on the Kitsap Peninsula, said Dee Coppola, founding editorial director. It has been my passion to produce a magazine as beautiful as our area. We're hidden over here. People don't realize what we have to offer. Everything you read in this publication can be found here, even the advertisers and products. The reader will not have to take a ferry to Seattle or cross the Narrows Bridge. It's all right here.
Contributors include Peg Tillery, Jane Bedinger, Rodika Tollefson, Maura Hallam Sweley, and environmental advocate Kathleen Byrne-Barrantes.
The cover story, the first in a series about Arts and Crafts style homes on the Kitsap Peninsula, was written by Kate Easton.
The quarterly magazine will feature upcoming features on trends in new home design and construction, garden whimsy, paint and design colors for 2006 and more.
WestSound Home & Garden is available at your local book seller, nurseries, upscale furniture and accessory shops, and supermarkets. For information or subscriptions, call (360) 876-7900 or visit the Web site, www.wshomeandgarden.com. |
