Jim Carmichael, President and CEO of Kitsap Bank, recently announced the promotion of Shannon Childs to Senior Vice President/Marketing Director.

“During her tenure, Shannon has done a tremendous job as Marketing and Communications Director. The enthusiasm and capabilities she brings to the job will be a driving force in maintaining our competitive advantage in today’s marketplace.”

Childs has more than 22 years experience in financial services, and also previously served as Community Outreach Director for U. S. Congressman Rick White. She is a long-time Kitsap County resident, and now resides in Port Orchard, after many years of living on Bainbridge Island.

“I very much enjoy working with everyone at Kitsap Bank,” Childs said. “And I look forward to continuing to improve our products and services for our customers.”

In addition to her Marketing and Communications responsibilities, Childs also oversees Kitsap Bank’s yearly charitable contributions.
