The Kitsap County Community Development Corporation (CDC) recently made a loan to Trina Collins to start PlayCare DayCare at 1211 NE McWilliams Road in Bremerton. The business is a home-based childcare service for infants to 12 year olds, and will open for business this month.
The CDC manages a revolving loan fund that provides gap financing and microloans to small business owners who will create jobs in Kitsap County.
The Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) also partially funded PlayCare DayCares start up. DVR helps people with disabilities to reintegrate into the community. It works with clients on business plans and funding projects for self employment.
