County Commissioner Jan Angel and officials of the Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce were on hand for a formal “grand opening” ribbon-cutting ceremony at the newly opened Bethel Center commercial complex on Bethel Road.

According to owner/developer Darlene Piper, tenants currently opened include:

• Gregory J. Wall & Associates, PLLC
• Law Offices of Kathleen Schultz
• Peterson & Jake, Inc. CPA’s
• Stewart Title of Kitsap County
• CFA Northwest Mortgage Professionals
• Country A’la Mode (ice cream shoppe)
• Pizza Factory
• Cafe Soleil espresso and tanning
• Luxury Nails & Spa, LLC

   Piper also noted that there is a new restaurant currently under construction at the center called Baja Outpost — Fresh Grill & Spirits, due to open at the end of July.

The Bethel Recreation Centre/roller rink, also currently under construction, is due to open mid-September.
