Soroptimist International of Greater Bremerton recently announced the availability of scholarship applications for women.

Soroptimist, a service organization for women in business, management and the professions, supports projects that advance the status of women through scholarships for individuals and grants for non-profit organizations. Woman who are enrolled, or plan to enroll, in post-secondary career and technical education courses are eligible to apply.

Scholarship funds may be used toward tuition, books, uniforms or equipment required for training.

Completed applications must be postmarked no later than April 30.
