“Melodious Finale,” the last concert of the 2004-2005 Season of the Bremerton Symphony, will feature the Symphony Orchestra and Concert Chorale under the direction of Elizabeth Stoyanovich. The concert will open with combined selections for orchestra and chorale including Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus and Poulenc’s Gloria with soprano guest soloist Deborah Stephens. Stephens has been heard at New York’s Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and on the public television series “Live from Lincoln Center.” She spent three seasons with the New York City Opera where she appeared in over 45 operas, operettas, and musicals as a member of the ensemble.

During the second half, the sixty-member orchestra will perform Prokofiev’s Classical Symphony and Respighi’s Pines of Rome. A pre-concert chat by Maestra Stoyanovich will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m.

The Bremerton High School Performing Arts Center is the location of the April 16 event. Adult and senior tickets are $22, and youth tickets are $10.
