The Bremerton Symphony Youth Showcase, in its second year of highlighting area orchestral instrumentalists from 3-18 years of age, took place on Jan. 8 at North Kitsap Auditorium. Twenty-seven young musicians in four age categories performed live for a panel of judges. Winners were selected in each category and awarded: $150 for private lessons and recognition to private lesson teacher; side-by-side live performance with Bremerton Symphony Orchestra on Feb 5, and special award ceremony.
