Poulsbo’s ActiveLight, Inc., a distributor of advanced displays and dynamic signage solutions, and Projector Wholesale Supply (PWS), a specialty distributor of professional projection solutions, announced that the companies have combined products and services, and both will now operate under the ActiveLight brand.

According to a press release, ActiveLight and PWS customers will experience no change in service, and will see an expansion of product options, expertise and solutions as a result of the consolidation. Employees of both companies will be retained in existing or similar roles within the new operating structure. Both companies are based in Poulsbo, and operate as part of the Powder Hill Group.

Projected annual growth rates for digital signage technology deployment ranges from 14 to 47 percent (depending on the application) over the next five years according to a 2004 study by Weinstock Media Analysis.

Brad Gleeson will continue to operate as president of ActiveLight, while Jill Miller, former president of PWS will now work directly with Gleeson and the executive team as executive vice president.
