On Jan 18, American Marine Bank (AMB) and the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for AMBs new branch, located in the Port Angeles Safeway. This is the second Safeway branch of four planned by the bank. The Sequim branch opened on Dec.17, and Belfair and Port Townsend are set to open in the first quarter of this year.
Donna Davidson, Senior Vice President of Community Banking for American Marine kicked off the ribbon-cutting ceremony. American Marine Bank has been serving communities for over 56 years now and were proud of our growth, said Davidson.
Were thankful for our partnership with Safeway and for their support, said Brian Kuh, Port Angeles Branch Sales Manager. The new in-store office allows us to offer the same banking products that we have at our traditional locations, but through extended hours and in a convenient location.
The branch is open until 7 p.m. on weekdays, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The Safeway branch will offer AMBs complete range of financial products and services.
The ribbon cutting was directed by Port Angeles Deputy Mayor, Gary Braun and Chamber Ambassadors Louann Yager, Claudia Ingstrom, Marisa Stoops, and Helen Elwood.
Also in attendance were American Marine Bank Port Angeles Assistant Sales Manager, Peggy Hansen and Sales Associates Tiffany Kovalenko, Tom Walker and Lacey Keil.
Bainbridge Island-based American Marine Bank has nine banking and two lending locations throughout Seattle and the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.
