West Sound Academy has completed requirements to secure financing to develop state-of-the-art school facilities on its 20-acre hilltop campus on Route 305, between Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo. Construction is scheduled to begin this month, with doors opening in the fall.

The new campus, with forests and fields overlooking Liberty Bay, will integrate laboratories, horticultural gardens, classrooms, performance space, and computer labs.

West Sound Academy is the only independent school in the greater Kitsap region serving grades 6-12. Its student body has grown every year, as have it academic curriculum, artistic performance schedule, and connection with the community. The new campus will accommodate continued growth.
