As of Sept. 1, Diane Griffith took over as sole owner of the Made in Bremerton Store, which was originally opened in March of this year by artist and gallery owner Amy Burnett. Griffin has added ...and More to the name.
There are now 30 locals artists with their wares displayed in the new space right inside the Amy Burnett Gallery. The hope is to expand to a total of 50 artists, giving them the opportunity to sell their art and also support the downtown Arts District.
Items for sale in the store include: sea-shell and beach glass hangings and wreaths, woven scarves and hats, raku and porcelain pottery, bath salts and soaps, shell lights and tapestry handbags just to name a few.
Since Bremerton is expanding, the artist community is also growing and prospering in the newly developed Bremerton area.
Reach the store at (360) 782-1500. The hours of operation are Tues. to Sat. from 10 a.m. 5 p.m. |
