The Evergreen Freedom Foundation (EFF) is launching a summer research program to investigate and publicize examples of fraud and abuse occurring in the state’s unemployment insurance and worker’s compensation programs.

In order to be successful, EFF needs your help! If you have examples of fraudulent unemployment and/or worker’s compensation claims which the Departments of Employment Security or Labor & Industries have failed to address or have not adequately investigated, please send them to Amy Brackenbury at amyb@biaw.com or call (360) 352-7800 with your questions.

BIAW will be using the examples gathered by EFF to help argue for fundamental system-wide changes to improve the state’s business climate.
