The Silverdale Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Professional Women’s Conference on Sept. 9 at the Clearwater Casino Convention Center. The event is a benefit for the Kitsap County Domestic Violence Task Force and the YWCA Clothes Closet.

Nationally acclaimed speaker Marilyn Grey will be the keynote speaker, addressing “Celebration, and the Art of Living Well.

A number of prominent Kitsap County women will address the group in breakout sessions on the following topics; personal safety, financial planning, learning to lead, personalizing your space, women in transition, and dealing with change.

Kitsap County Commissioners Angel, Lent, and Endresen will host a panel discussion on getting involved in your community. Other events include a continental breakfast, fashion show, luncheon, networking opportunities and hors d’ oeuvres.

The cost of the event is $75 for the entire day. A discount will be offered to Silverdale Chamber members. Event sponsorship opportunities are still available at several levels.
