The Kiwanis Club of Port Orchard will celebrate 75 years of community service on Sept. 11, 2004 at the Westbay Meeting Center in Port Orchard.

“We are very excited to be celebrating this milestone in the history of our Kiwanis Club,” states David Foote, President Elect. Foote continued by saying, “This club has 75 years of service to Port Orchard and South Kitsap, service which has reached those in need but primarily service that benefits children.”

This 75th Anniversary Celebration also includes the 13th Annual Fundraising Auction which includes both a silent and live auction along with a prime rib dinner catered by LaGarmarche.’

Tickets are available from any Kiwanis member by calling Warren Van Zee at (360) 895-0548 or David Foote at (360) 340-3647. Tickets are $40 per person or a table for eight can be purchased for $300. All proceeds from the celebration go to the Kiwanis Club’s community service projects for Port Orchard and South Kitsap.
