The North Mason Rotary Club is the proud sponsor of the 3rd Annual “Taste of Hood Canal” summer event, which will take place on Sat., Aug. 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Clifton Lane in downtown Belfair. The “Taste” will feature professional chainsaw carvers, an antique car show, the second annual Art Bite, specialties from local restaurants, family entertainment throughout the day, live music, food booths including North Mason Chamber of Commerce grilled oysters, strawberry shortcake, seafood salads, and a variety of treats, informational displays, art and craft booth, dunk tank, pitching booth, kid bounce, antique fire engine, and local artists. Parking will be available on old Belfair Highway 500 feet from the event.

This year Mason county businesses have joined to co-sponsor this event. They include, North Bay Mortgage, Petersen Chiropractic, Kitsap Bank, NW Experience, Green Mt Resource; Arnold and Smith Insurance, Allyn Analytics, Hood Canal Auto Sales, Pam Collins, Reid Real Estate, Hood Canal Interiors, Safeway, Peninsula Credit Union, Mason County Title, West Bay Auto Sales, PUD 3, My Friends Car Lot, LPL Financial, KMAS Radio, Sound Publishing Group, and Perfect Party.

The majority of the profits from the event will go toward the continued operation of an Adult Literacy Program in North Mason, which was started and funded by this North Mason Rotary Club last year.
