Art Anderson adding new talent

Art Anderson Associates recently announced the addition of mechanical engineers Jules Prendergast and Kkjersti-Helene (KJ) Boe to the firm as well as Patrick Vasicek, P.E. and Scott MacGregor, architect., along with Interns Tony Schumacher, Greg Jose, Kyle Winkler, and Dean Neshem, Jr. who will bring support to the firm’s engineering staff.

Prendergast brings 10 years of experience in the U.S. Navy where she was involved in project management and engineering planning, technology management, and communication and public relations efforts. She will be managing the firm’s internal marketing strategies for continually elevating customer service standards.

Boe comes to the firm after attaining her Master of Science degree in Technology Management from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, and is currently supporting mechanical improvements for local hospitals.

Vasicek brings more than 30 years experience in civil and environmental engineering and expertise in sustainable design and development, environmental management and planning, remediation technologies, and complex program management includes 13 years with the Engineering Field Activity, Northwest in Poulsbo in leadership roles for environmental projects.

MacGregor, with more than 30 years of experience and proven project management skills, complex problem solving abilities, and team leadership experience will be utilized on the firm’s waterfront engineering and design projects as a senior project manager. He has spent the last 14 years at Boeing managing projects ranging in size from $25K to $5 Million.

Schumacher is supporting the firm’s facilities division and is in his third year of study of Architectural Engineering at Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Jose, a returning intern supporting both Bremerton offices, will be a senior at Washington State University majoring in Political Science.

Winkler is working in the firm’s Portland Construction Management office for the Pioneer Courthouse remodel and will be a sophomore at Oregon State University majoring in Construction Engineering Management.

Neshem Jr., will be a Senior at WSU majoring in Chemical Engineering this fall, and plans to continue on to receive his Masters. He is currently supporting Anderson’s Washington State Ferries security contract out of its Seattle office.
