The Edward Jones investment representatives of Kitsap County will host a free program, titled “Investing in an Election Year,” at 8:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Tues., June 8.

The first half of 2004 has seen interest rates remain low, the U.S. presidential race heat up, and concerns over health care continue. This program will feature a panel of industry analysts who will look at these and other issues confronting individual investors in the second half of the year.

The one-hour televised event will address:

• The upcoming presidential election and its impact on the economy
• Why more companies are paying dividends
• Industries that are likely to prosper regardless of election results

   This interactive event is presented at select Edward Jones branch offices nationwide via the firm’s private video network.
