More endorsements for Rossi for Governor

Gubernatirial candidate Dino Rossi continues to pile up business endorsements in his quest for the governor’s mansion.

Rossi was recently endorsed by the Washington State Medical Association PAC, which represents the state’s doctors, and the state chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).

The state chapter of the NFIB, an organization representing small businesses throughout Washington, announced its endorsement of Republican Rossi on May 21. Rossi has made jobs and economic recovery the focus of his campaign.

“I’m proud to have the support of Washington’s small business owners,” said Rossi. “When I was a kid I started out as a small businessperson of sorts, re-selling old golf balls and even starting my own candle-making business! I understand the challenges and joys of having your own business and being your own boss.

“But today, small businesses are facing especially difficult challenges. For the past 20 years there has been one-party rule in the governor’s office. The Democrats have ignored the problems with our business climate, and have done virtually nothing to make our state a better place to do business and create jobs. We still have one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation.

“As governor, my top priority will be getting Washington back to work. It’s time for change and new leadership in the governor’s office.”.
