Washington Mutual has given Kitsap County Community Development Corporation (KCCDC) a $10,000 grant to add to its revolving loan fund. This will enable the organization to lend more money to small businesses that will create jobs in Kitsap County.

KCCDC is a third-party lender established by Kitsap County Commissioners and funded originally by Kitsap County and City of Bremerton Block Grant Program HUD funds. It seeks to help small business owners start up or expand and in doing so create jobs for low-income persons.

Bank of America and Wells Fargo have also recently contributed to KCCDC’s Revolving Loan Fund.
