The annual Blast from the Past becomes a three day event. East Bremerton Rotary Clubs annual fund raiser has expanded to three days, May 21, 22 and 23 at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds.
In addition to the car show, it will include a motorcycle show culminating with public choice awards and a Sunday Poker Run.
Two dances will be held this year. On Friday, May 21, dance to Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts (50s & 60s) and the Saturday May 22 dance will feature Hit Explosion (70s & 80s). Prize drawings will be held both nights.
New this year also will be a display from the LeMay Auto Museum, a BBQ cook-off (for national points) put on by the Western BBQ Association, BBQ classes put on by the Western BBQ Association, and Kitsap Safe Kids will put on car safety seat demonstrations and provide bike helmets and life preservers. Childrens activities will be provided.
