Brenda Prowse, broker/owner of Brenda Prowse Properties, Inc., in Poulsbo, recently presented the Poulsbo Rotary Club with a check for $2660 during a club meeting. The funds have been designated to benefit the club’s Domestic Violence Transition House project.

Since 1998 the club has been working with the Kitsap County Housing Authority and YWCA/Alive shelter to develop a Domestic Violence transition house. Ardis Morrow has been the primary lead from the club in contributing to this project. The club recently celebrated the completion of remodeling and furnishing the first of two units in the Poulsbo area.

The donation represents a portion of the commission Prowse earned from the recent sale of a home owned by a member of the club. She has committed to donate a portion of her earnings to local charities and non-profit organizations favored by her clients.
