Olympic College opens new doors in Poulsbo

Not since 1946 has a new college opened in Kitsap County… at least for Olympic College.

Olympic College Poulsbo opened its doors to over 600 enrolled students on Jan. 5. Located in the Olhava development, the new $12.9 million dollar, state-of-the-art facility has been 10 years in the planning.

Hundreds of local people told Olympic College what they needed by way of programs and services. The region, cultural considerations, and the site overlooking Liberty Bay influenced the architect’s design. Local community groups and benefactors enhanced the campus through their generous donations.
