Bud Grahn received the Agency Hands in the Community award from Allstate Insurance for his commitment to volunteering in the community. The award comes with a $500 grant from The Allstate Foundation for the Silverdale Rotary Club Foundation.

Grahn was nominated by Cindy Hill, market business consultant at Allstate Insurance Company.

Grahn has served on the Rotary board for five years and is currently director of Vocational Services. The position involves college scholarships, student of the month for Central Kitsap and Klahowya high schools, sailor and marine of the quarter, business week and shadow day. He will be President-Elect next year and preparing to be the President starting in 2005.
