New technology for infusion molding

Westech Aerosol Corporation, located at the Olympic View Industrial Park, has developed a unique and innovative new product to aid in the infusion molding process. InfuZene vacuum infusion enabler will make boat building and aircraft assembly a much easier process with more reliable results. InfuZene is designed to hold dry materials onto structural surfaces (i.e. the hull of a boat), ultimately curing and cross-linking with the resins, resulting in one uninterrupted formation.

According to the company, this isn’t just a new product, but a complete new process. Currently, spray adhesives are generally used to hold the layers of dry materials together during the curing process of the resins — a method that can be problematic because it leaves air pockets in between materials, weakening the structure as a whole. InfuZene eliminates the possibility of those problems.
