The Acupuncture and Wellness Center, Inc. in Poulsbo, has expanded so much that it is constructing a commercial building for its own clinic as well as additional lease space. The new building will be located on Hwy. 305, across from Poulsbo Market and be built by Drury Construction.

The clinic, which has been in Poulsbo for five and a half years, is a traditional Chinese medical clinic and is the largest volume Chinese clinic in the state of Washington.

Acupuncturists Robert Doane and his wife Anne Doane opened the clinic in 1998, and have treated over 4000 people with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. The clinic treats all medical problems and is open five days a week, Monday through Friday. Most insurance is accepted and the office will verify individual coverage.

The new building and expanded clinic was designed by Sean Parker of Bainbridge Architects. Completion and occupancy are scheduled for April 2004.
The clinic can be reached at (360) 394-4357.
