In September, the Port Orchard accounting firm of Southard, Beckham, Atwater & Berry, CPA, P.S., lsuccessfully completed a peer review and received an “unmodified” opinion from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”).

Southard, Beckham, Atwater and Berry, CPA PS participates in the Peer Review Program, one of the AICPA-approved practice-monitoring programs. This review was conducted under the auspices of the Washington State Society of CPA’s. An unmodified report indicates that the financial statements, accountant’s report and other related information the Firm submitted for review conformed in all material respects with professional standards. This type of review is referred to as an “Engagement Review.”.
