Harrison Heart Care to benefit
from 2003 Festival of Trees

The Harrison Hospital Foundation has named Harrison Heart Care as the beneficiary of the 17th annual community holiday celebration. A Harrison Hospital program, Harrison Heart Care represents the most advanced cardiovascular treatment program — including open-heart surgery — available to residents of the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

Visitors to the three-day Festival of Trees celebrate the spirit of the season with the help of generous sponsors and hundreds of dedicated volunteers. The Festival has become the largest fundraising event in the Kitsap community. To date, the event has resulted in more than $1.6 million and benefited enhanced patient-care programs at Harrison, recently including cardiac services, emergency services, women’s and children’s services, and radiation oncology.

This year’s Festival will be held Dec. 5 through 7 at the Kitsap Pavilion and President’s Hall and will feature a new Holiday Preview event, as well as past favorites, Party Among the Trees, Gala Tree Party and Auction, and Breakfast with Santa.
