Brent Hirschy of Silverdale shot a hole-in-one on the 5th hole of the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain on August 13 during the Kitsap Mental Health Services-Burger King Golf Classic. Hirschy’s prize was a set of Ben Hogan irons from Hole-in-One sponsor H & K Agency, Inc. of Bremerton. The top Hole-in-One prize, a classic Rolls Royce, also sponsored by H & K Agency, went unclaimed.

The KMHS-Burger King tournament, now in its ninth year, was held for the first time at Gold Mountain. Burger King, major tournament sponsor for three years, underwrote the event along with a host of other Kitsap County businesses and professionals. The tournament raised over $34,000 to benefit Kitsap Mental Health Services.
