The Edward Jones investment representatives of Kitsap County will host a free program on investing in today’s market at 3:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday Oct. 14, 2003.

During this one-hour televised event, investors will learn how capital gains changes may affect their investment decisions. The program also will feature the risks of being over-weighted in bonds and the value of dividend-paying investments.

“Some individuals are still taking a ‘wait and see’ approach to investing,” said Jim Thatcher of Bremerton. “We’ll be discussing the potential cost of waiting and examine why many investors are moving carefully back into the market.”

This interactive event is presented at Edward Jones branch offices nationwide via the firm’s private video network.
