Kids Will Be Kids Family Day Care located at 3495 Soholt Lane in Port Orchard is now open and accepting applications for enrollment are now being accepted, according to Debbie Lear, owner.

The home day care center is located just off Mullenix Road, near Highway 16 and is open from 6:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The age range is 3 months to 11 years old.

The day care is fully licensed and Lear promises that children will be allowed to flourish in a friendly home environment where it is “OK for kids to be kids,” Lear said. Nutritious meals and help for special needs will be provided.

Lear is a graduate of the Washington CASH program in Kitsap County where entrepreneurs develop business plans and can apply for micro loans for start up expenses.
