Cosmo’s Deli, the popular delicatessen and restaurant on Lund Avenue in Port Orchard, is celebrating three years in business.

“We’re very excited about reaching this milestone,” said Shelly Lewis, co-owner of the Mediterranean-style deli. “Considering that most restaurants fail, and that we’ve weathered this incredible economic downturn, we’re very proud of what we’ve accomplished here.”

Lewis and Christina Balazs, co-owners of the deli, credit their success to their loyal customer base. “Our customers appreciate what we’re trying to do here,” continued Lewis. “It’s almost like a good food guild&Mac226; with new people joining all the time!”

Cosmo’s Deli is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. They have a separate dinner menu and table service on Friday and Saturday after 5 p.m.
