The Work/Life Community Partnership is looking for a few good employers (large and small) who have policies and programs that help employees balance work and life issues and responsibilities.

The employers selected for this award will be recognized at the annual West Sound Human Resource Management Association’s celebration luncheon held December 10.

The West Sound Human Resource Management Association and Work/Life Community Partnership sponsor the award. Supporting sponsors include Art Anderson & Associates, Bremerton Chamber of Commerce, Kitsap Peninsula Business Journal, Kitsap County Prevention Services, Kitsap Credit Union, and Silverdale Chamber of Commerce.

The 2002 award recipients were Drury Construction Co., Inc., Edgren, Hecker & Lemon Insurance, Fred Hill Materials, Kitsap Credit Union, Longs Drugs, Olympic Area Agency on Aging (Alumni), and Paladin Data Systems Corporation. Kitsap Credit Union was also presented with the Exemplary Drug Free Workplace award.
