Olalla watercolor artist Sage Burrows recently opened an art gallery and picture framing shop in Port Orchard, Viridian Fine Art and Fine Framing.

The Viridian collection offers fine art by Kitsap and other nearby artists. It features works of art that celebrate beauty, life and the majesty of the Northwest. Viridian carries a wonderful collection of work including:

• Woodcarvings by Brian Watson
• Watercolors by Lynne Lewis, Dawna Durbin, Marna Auclair, Lynn Lever and Sage Burrows
• Metal sculptures by Chris and Aragorn Raven
• Book illustrations by Richard Jesse Watson

   Viridian is owned by Burrows, who has lived in Olalla for 12 years and worked as a watercolor artist as well as framing his own art work for over 25 years.

Viridian is the only private art gallery in Port Orchard. All custom picture framing is done on site by Burrows who likes to use his knowledge as an artist to guide and assist people in revealing the best possible presentation of their art work.
