HDR, an architectural, engineering and consulting firmwith offices in Port Orchard, has moved up on the Hot Firm list issued by ZweigWhite, a leading research firm for the design and construction industry.

HDR was ranked #36 on the Hot Firm 2003 List of the 100 fastest-growing architecture, engineering, planning and environmental consulting firms in the country. The ranking is based on an equal weighting of percentage revenue growth and dollar revenue growth from 1999 to 2002. HDR was #44 in last year’s rankings.

HDR opened its first Pacific Northwest office in Seattle in 1975 and now employs more than 350 people in nine Northwest offices in Bellevue, East Wenatchee, Pasco, Port Orchard, Olympia, and Spokane, as well as in Portland, Ore., Boise, Idaho, Missoula, Mont., and Anchorage, Alaska.
