Butterflies and Bumblebees Child Care has opened at 4040 Victory Drive, SW in Port Orchard. Applications for enrollment are now being accepted, according to Danielle Timmons, owner.
The child care center serves children aged 6 week through 11 years for parents in Kitsap and Mason counties. Hours are from 8 a.m. until midnight and later by appointment. Drop-in care is also available by appointment.
Butterflies & Bumblebees is located near Sunnyslope Elementary and will provide a pre-school curriculum. It also works in cooperation with local elementary school teachers.
“We want every child to have an enriching expeience and to meet our mission statement, ‘a safe, fun place to learn and grow’’ Timmons said.
Timmons is graduate of the Kitsap Washington CASH program that provides training and loans for people wishing to start a business. She is vice president of her CASH peer loan group, WHEAT.
