Frontier Bank, Poulsbo Chamber
Golf Classic set

The 2003 Frontier Bank/Poulsbo Chamber Golf Classic has been set for July 10, at Wing Point Golf and Country Club. KOMO Radio sports personality Ron Callan, a Bainbridge resident, will also be on hand with some very special invited guests.

Players compete in a team scramble format with awards for two divisions; low gross and low net scores team scores. The shotgun start begins at 1 PM. Special golfer packets are sponsored by Sprint, another major sponsor of the tournament since 1997.

A hole-in-one on the challenging Par 3 third hole at Wing Point could win you a new car from the Courtesy Auto Group, another major sponsor of the tournament. Plus for the first time, there will be a putting contest for a chance to win $10,000 in cash.

Players are treated to a round of golf on the challenging Wing Point links, and for most players this is the only time of year they will play the private course. This is the Seventh Annual Classic, the sixth that Frontier Bank has been the title sponsor, attended by over 120 business leaders from the North Kitsap area each year. Proceeds of this event help support the Chamber’s Building Fund and key marketing activities. The tournament is known for its great prizes and amenities, including box lunches and dinner for every player in addition to their round of golf and cart.

Registration is limited to the first 144 players. Teams are encouraged as well as single registrations. The cost is just $99 per player and forms are available at the Chamber office, 19168 Jensen Way in Poulsbo, or online at www.poulsbochamber.com. For more information, call 360-695-8125.
