Longtime local banker Jean Charneski recently opened Charneski Premier Accounting. The firm offers services to small businesses needing a bookkeeper on a part-time basis. She does bank reconcilations, daily receipts input and disbursements, payroll, and puts together in-house financial statements. She is skilled in QuickBooks, the dominant small business software, as well as other programs.

Charneski, who recently retired from the banking industry, can offer accounting skills and other insights to the small businessperson from a banker’s perspective. This includes knowing what a bank needs to see on a loan or credit line proposal, understanding how businesses operate from marketing and distribution standpoints, working with vendors and more.
